I'm no stranger to the Canadian speculative, and this was a true delight! Gathering more than 50 stories and poems, this series is a remarkable addition to the genre of 'year's best' anthologies. A wonderful blend of iconic, award-winning, authors I've already read and voices that are entirely new.

Okay friends: today is going to be a GRADING DAY. I am taking myself to a cafe to see if I can get through two sections of midterms, final map assignments, and stray late makeup assignments. I will be bribing myself with TREATS.
