What better way to celebrate U2's new EP release then buying (again) one of their earliest albums? Great packaging with cool 12 page book and respectful mastering. Like this album a lot. Oh by the way I also like Easter Lily a lot as well.

In a metal mood and what better way to aggravate it by listening to one of my favourite Maiden albums. Actually, got to be 100% honest and declare any Maiden album 1981-1988 could be classified as my favourite. Up The Irons!

Their grand debut album. A shoegaze masterpiece or just a lot of God awful noise? Actually it's both lol. All these years later I still have no idea what the lyrics are.

RIP Neil Sedaka.

One of pop music's greats, brilliant songwriter and excellent entertainer. Countless timeless hits, far too many to mention in this short tribute.

Respect and hats off. Breaking up is hard to do.

Listening to "Spirit" by Depeche Mode (2017) on CD.

Now my Depeche Mode collection is complete! I enjoyed this album, not bad at all for a band that had been going for 37 years at this stage. On a sad note this was the last album with the late Andy Fletcher.

RIP Rob Hirst, drummer/singer/songwriter for the legendary Australian band Midnight Oil.
Rob lost his battle with pancreatic cancer.
A brilliant drummer and responsible for a lot of Oil classics. A sad day not only for the Australian music industry but for music worldwide.
Hats off & respect.
