On April 17, I’ll give a talk at this year’s TAGGS (“Therapeutic + Applied Geek + Gaming Summit”) about using TTRPGs in education—showing how they can be integrated into curricula to engage learners and deepen learning.

To celebtrate the New Year, I have my annual look at the year in roleplaying. It was a year of disasters, including tariffs, distributor bankruptcy, and stolen AI art, but there were great successes too, particularly in the OSR and indie sides of the industry, and for Backerkit. Take a look!

The TTRPG-room of the "Tales Untold" Boardgame Café in Berlin. A truely wonderful location.
@untoldtales.bsky.social We celebrated 1 year of Shadowdark! Players teleported from sandstorms to ghost fields, chasing artifacts. The final boss? Convincing witches with a disco-pink magic shirt. Nat 20 did the trick. Pure chaos, pure joy.

Education is a powerful force for good. TTRPGs are able to foster empathy, social skills, and critical thinking. Let’s use them. There’s a lot to do.
