Vivian’s back at the Garage & she’s building something new: a quiet service for very loud problems. Because some problems don’t go away. They get handled.
Some pests don’t squeak. Some wear suits.

An order of printshop noir, as Vivian decides to turn her passion into profit and make the leap as "Gunselle." I thank the mechanics down @literarygarage.bsky.social for keeping her running so smoothly.

Thanks for giving her love.
In case you missed it, new noir by @russellthayer10.bsky.social & @meproctor.bsky.social dropped earlier this week from CJ Press.

Indeed.
Thanks, Jeff. We had a blast.
"Well, said Wilbur, rubbing his palms together. The secret of time travel explained."
I was also surprised and delighted by the appearance of the great Sandra Huller.
“The job requires brains and poise. Icy nerves. Which you have in spades.” He shot her a thin smile. “On top of the rest of the package.”

“Go shake a bookie, raid a gambling den. There’s so much sin for sale in this town, can’t you find a few grand under the carpets?”

I thought so, too. My wife loved the book, which I haven't read.
I (almost) always listen to what she has to say. You should, too.
It's sad, but very entertaining. And Carlton Fisk is a real asshole.
My son is a huge baseball fan, so I'm holding out hope that he'll want all my 50's cards, at least to sell them. Have you read this book? Fantastic memoir about a guy who buys a sealed pack from the 1980s, opens it and decides to visit each guy to see what's become of them. Highly recommend.
I have every year of Al Kaline, but his rookie card is not in good shape. 1957 is my favorite Topps year. I have a number of stars, including Aaron. I gave up collecting back in the 90s. I have no interest in the newer cards.
I've got some goodies from the 50's in my stash. Frank Robinson rookie, among other things. Go Mariners. Go Brewers. Is this the year they face off in the Series?
I'm ready. And willing.
Dunno what kind of weather April & May will bring but we can tell you right now that CJ's bringin the heat 🔥🔥🔥

I loved this beautifully written piece. When it sadly rolled over at the end, I felt a piercing.
New micro new journal! I love what @sarpsozdinler.bsky.social is doing over at @bulbregion.bsky.social and am thrilled to be included 💥

He spent fifty years perfecting nothing.
Now he’s stuck with it.
Our flash feature “Just Hanging Out” by Jim Harrington is up—short, quiet, and heavier than it looks.

I'm retired, too, and busy all the time. Some days his life sounds perfect.
