Looking through one of the four windows of the Orion spacecraft, a crescent Earth is illuminated against the blackness of space and grows smaller as the crew journeys closer to the Moon. This image was taken by an Artemis II crew member on the fifth day of the mission.

Hope Wales only win by 3 or 4 goals so as not to demoralise St Pauli's Nikola Vasilj ahead of the Bundesliga relegation battle

Gamblers trying to win a bet on Polymarket are vowing to kill me if I don’t rewrite an Iran missile story Bettors are using death threats to try to get The Times of Israel's military correspondent to change his report on a missile impact in central Israel. This is his alarming account

Crazy crazy story. Times of Israel reporter ( English language Israeli news site ) gets escalating death threats to change story that’s at center of big polymarket bet. www.timesofisrael.com/gamblers-try...

It's so good I have been stuck on playing silent. I got a win with the slightly different just-draw-loads-of-cards mechanic with the power that deals damage for every extra card drawn. This Is Gaming

Had a very fun infinite run last night as silent with the discard/sly mechanic

I give up, Claude is conscious. Ergo AI developers must face imprisonment or execution for performing medical experiments on their living slave.

Huge psychological blow for English rugby (not the result, just that Itoje can actually be carded for his constant cheating)

I just did the dumbest thing of my entire career to prove a much more serious point.

I tricked ChatGPT and Google, and made them tell other users I’m a competitive hot-dog-eating world champion

People are using this trick on a massive scale to make AI tell you lies. I’ll explain how I did it

if i ever mention a detail about my job that doesn't match a detail i've previously mentioned it's because i'm lying on purpose. it's called opsec

How cool is it that so many different cultures (including Welsh pwnco) have convergent evolution for something like rap battles

Indeed - my objection is that calling it UPF makes people think there's something inherently unhealthy about the act of processing food when it's only the processes that result in hyperpalatable / calorie dense foods that are 'bad'. UPF having so many daft definition edge-cases can't be useful

Nice, thanks!

Not the point of your tweet, sorry - but do you find the ultraprocessed food research convincing/useful?

For those that have given me a polite blank stare when I mention Gary Larson's Cow Tools: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cow_tools

The wikipedia article has even been updated with this breaking Cow Tool research development.

My pet peeve at the moment is the "you haven't left us a review yet" emails, which have just knocked "please review us" emails from the top spot.

this website, even a lot of people I love and respect, has a terminal case of “I am mad about the headline, no I didn’t read the article why do you ask”

Or even 0 'extra' - the spy hubs were still also functional restaurants according to the theory right?

I have a theory that the general epistemic crisis has led to a lot of very online people getting used to communicating primarily through oughtposting and kind of forgetting how to deal with isposting

love to see someone complaining about seeing an 'immoral' advert online but being pwned and told it's based on their browsing history.
The only problem is that I don't think it's real and online ads are still often just targeted to broad-ish demographics / the targeting is just not perfect?

A graph showing share of seats in each of the six Senedd elections from 1999 to 2021. Labour were the largest party in each, winning between 42% and 50% of seats every time.

Oh I acutally completely agree with your point lmao.
But I do think the article in the quoted tweet is allowed to point out that every devolved Welsh election has produced very similar results. It was clearly not saying that all UK devoled elections OR POLITICS has been boring.
