I've been playing Mouse: P.I. For Hire for about a week now. It's really good!

Despite a lot of folks comparing it to boomer shooters, I actually think it has more in common with Bioshock (albeit with far less of an immersive sim lean). It's a bit slower, a bit more cerebral.

In the interest of fairness, I'll add that the Chris campaign is marginally better. The enemies are more fun to fight, and the set pieces lean further into the silliness.

But the cover shooting is absolutely rotten. This was a solved problem in 2012, yet it feels like a first attempt!

Playing Resident Evil 6 for the first time (I gave up after two hours back when it first released) and... *woof*.

As an artefact from the 360 generation, it's a fascinating mess of conflicting ideas.

As a game to play today, though? Absolutely rank. A miserable slog.

The game you are about to play is a product of its time. It may depict the PS3, which was commonplace in society. These depictions were wrong then and are wrong today.
