My partner did a book photoshoot today with the flautist from The Green Death. She explained to him that she'd been working as a contract musician at the BBC, and Barry Letts told her she could appear in Doctor Who if she taught him to play the flute ☺️!

When you’re little your imagination takes you on so many great adventures through woodlands, mountains (hills) and fields, seeking out Monsters, Ogres and Dragons. Those wonderful carefree long summer days, enjoying the endless sunshine.

Yes! They don’t seem to think and just act daft in front of friends sometimes.

Thanks Mark that means a lot. I think he was a bit of an idiot, they have no thought for anyone but themselves sometimes. 😊🥰

I had an idiotic person mimicking the way I walk on my way home tonight. It’s happened before but not for a long time. He was just a bit of an idiot showing off to his friend, so it didn’t bother me too much, but it’s annoying. I was born with a club foot but my limp looks worse if I am a bit tired.

I love freshly cooked bread. It smells so good when it’s ready to take out of the oven. It’s my absolute food joy.

I’ve got another painting exhibition coming up this autumn. This year’s theme is A Century of Fantasy Cinema. Any movies you think I should consider?

(And, yes, I will be doing Labyrinth. 😁)

I have said this before, but I really thought Maggie Stables was wonderful as the Sixth Doctor’s companion Evelyn in the @bigfinish.bsky.social audios. I would very much like to have met her. She was a fantastic actress and I would love to have heard her in many more adventures.

Down in the meadow where the wind blows free
In the middle of a field stands a lightning tree
Its limbs all torn from the day it was born
For the tree was born in a thunderstorm 🎵

I think that @mrrobvalentine.bsky.social is such a great writer. I loved his @bigfinish.bsky.social story ‘The Stuff of Legend’ it’s so very Robert Holmes in style, and it creates such a great atmosphere. I was a huge fan of the Robert Holmes stories.

In 1989 I went to see Jon Pertwee in the stage play of "The Ultimate Adventure". I was in complete awe and never thought I would be there watching the first Doctor I ever saw on Telly stood on that stage, truly magical.

I love her acting skills, she’s great and I always believe in her characters.
It’s so nice to know she is like that in real life. I loved her in 2point4 Children. Thanks Lisa 😃

Belinda Lang plays Mrs. Clam so well in 'The Sister Boniface Mysteries'. She is such a good actress, and I had no idea it was her, and I was so surprised. I think because I watched her in 2Point4 Children, I always remember her as that character.

“Always go a little further into the water than you feel you’re capable of being in. Go a little bit out of your depth. And when you don’t feel that your feet are quite touching the bottom, you’re just about in the right place to do something exciting."
