Those two owning the Seahawks would be awesome.

To login to @glassdoor.bsky.social, I needed to MFA with Google, follow on with a Cloudflare captcha, approve sharing my info with Indeed, and _then_ give indeed my phone number. No thanks.
I gave Jekyll a first serious shake recently and found I really like it. I want to compare with Hugo, too, but may move my blog over that way.
Anyone have suggestions for exporting a Ghost blog to Markdown suitable for either of these?
I'm using buildah right now, but it's a little slow. The 🤖s suggest BuildKit, which I may try.
So, haven't needed to do it in a while, but need to do it now: what are people using to build container images in places where docker isn't available (e.g. CI runners on #K8s) now that Kaniko is archived?
Is it crazy to build a new startup product in #dotnet today?
It's up and, if you like @taskmaster.tv, you might find it enjoyable.

So, the hard part (as it always is for me) is the front end. CSS animations are not my strong suit. But learning means growing, right?
I love being the age where bad office chairs can give me back pain for days it's so fun
Had an idea for a kinda simple web app to help with something I wanted to do the other day. No auth needed. Landing page, creation page, and view page. Hardest part would be some CSS animations. Going to try to get it implemented this weekend. Stay tuned. #flask #python
If you were building a cozy pirate #ttrpg setting, what would you want to see in it?
Read a post where an #sre discovered a recent incident had the same root cause as an earlier incident. Someone chimed in that they didn't have the same root cause: the root cause of the second incident was not prioritizing the fix from the first incident. #postmortem items need due dates!
People seem shocked that I don’t want to give out my number anymore, but this massive uptick in spam texts is why. Sorry, Harbor Freight, I don’t trust you to not get breached or decide to sell my info.
I don't post so often, these days, but this made my day.
Versioned rollback is finally a thing in k8s.

My son and I enjoyed reading the first two books together. He leaves for college next year, I’ll have to send him a copy while he’s there.
“Any there appeared before him, Miles Crawford, the spirit of unpaid parking tickets.”
I've been playing with Java over the past week. After years of semi-colonless languages, it feels a little strange, but there are parts of it I am really enjoying. Having a solid IDE which reminds me of features which I've forgotten--or which have been introduced between Java 8 and now--is nice.
And some are _really_ bad. 🤣
Watching The Blob (1988) with my son (horror movies every Thursday in October). There are some surprisingly good effects in this for a late 80s film.
A graphic showing the cover of Cottonopolis on the left (one white girl and one Black girl in 1800s dress against a background of stars in the colours of the lesbian pride flag). On the right is some descriptive text: Little Rebels Award 2025 shortlist, a magical middlegrade full of marvel and mischief
A graphic showing an orange cobweb and bats on a black backgrouns. In the bottom right is the Northodox Press logo. The text reads: 15% off this spooky season. Use the code HALLOWEEN25
My books are in a Halloween sale til 1 Nov! 👻🏳️🌈
Cottonopolis is a queer historical novel. Shortlisted for the 2025 #LittleRebelsAward 🎪

That’s an interesting thought. 🤔 I wouldn’t be surprised.
I keep meaning to try out Bluefin.
yearly reminder to people insisting that we view Christopher Columbus as "a man of his time" that *the people responsible for the Spanish Inquisition* thought Columbus was out of pocket
As someone on the job hunt, this feels too close to home.
One of my favorite ways to learn a new framework is to follow a tutorial for another language or version and try to make it work. When I was learning Django 2.x, I followed a tutorial for 1.x and became VERY familiar with the docs. Now, I’m following a C# microservices course, but writing it in Go.
October 11, 2025 is a milestone in comedy history. Not only is it the 50th anniversary of the 1st SNL, today is also the final new Dr. Demento show. After 55 years, Barret Hansen is hanging up his top hat. Please go to drdemento.com to hear his all time demented top 40 countdown special.
Also need to get more 10gig on my @proxmox.bsky.social nodes.
Migrated my @jellyfin.bsky.social server from a @proxmox.bsky.social VM to a physical server with a GPU for transcoding. Performance is way better, but that probably has to do with the bonded 10gig interfaces. 🤣
