If anyone sees this around please know it's not from the project, the colourist is not working on anything yet.
Usually I ignore things like this but I had people reach out who had seen it.
Others then questioned the official art.
Sad times.
Just came across some artwork from SAORSA.
On an artists page who had nothing to do with the project and clearly it wasn't made by human hands.
Reported.
They fed the released art into the machine, to colour it seems.
Primary artist on SAORSA is the very human Wayne Lowden.
Even with a small Kickstarter like my own, I've had like 4-5 of these, and the emails fishing for sales, should have set up a dedicated inbox. Lessons are learned
We live in a world where status and income often decide when decency applies.
I try not to get lost in the big questions and stick to what I can actually control.
Be kind. Be humble. Help where you can.
Feels like things would shift pretty quickly if more of us did that.
One thing I didn’t expect from running a campaign was how good the conversations would be.
A lot less noise, a lot more genuine chats than I imagined.
Thank you for having me on, had a great chat, and I look forward to catching up again in the future.
Day two of SAORSA being live.
The unknown is always scary, but as usual, when we step into it, we can be surprised by what we find.
The amount of messages, support, and even just curiosity really sat with me last night.
Grateful and excited. The best combination.
Thank you so much, genuinely appreciate that. And thanks for the kind words.
The first Scottish Creator Spotlight is live. Huge thanks to @johnlees.bsky.social for such a generous and thoughtful conversation about craft, place, and longevity in comics.
If you’re a Scottish creator and would like to take part, feel free to reach out.

SAORSA is live.
My first creator-owned comic and Kickstarter. A supernatural-noir set in a post-collapse Scotland, focused on folklore, quiet horror, and what people carry on living with.
Thanks to everyone who has been following along.

Thanks so much to SOLRAD for publishing this. Really grateful for the thoughtful edit and care you put into it.
Post-collapse stories have always felt more honest to me than post-apocalypse ones. Less spectacle, more consequence.
Hello!
I'm looking for a Colourist and Letterer for SAORSA (Kickstarter launching Feb 3.)
This is not a superhero project, grounded, Noir, real-world colours.
Lettering, we are looking to allow the tension to breathe.
Comment or message with examples and page rate.
Thank you.
SAORSA isn’t built around spectacle.
It’s built around pacing, restraint, and trusting the reader.
SAORSA Page One.
Aimee Wilson doesn’t believe the world is finished.
Even when it’s fractured.
Even when it hurts.
Harley’s Books.
A place built from old stories, stubborn care, and the belief that some things are worth preserving, even when the world starts to crack.
One week out from the launch of SAORSA.
Grateful for everyone who's followed the process far.
Excited to share more content over the next seven days.
I had a really good chat on the Indie Creator Podcast about SAORSA, indie comics, and what it’s actually like trying to build creator-owned work in public.
Honest conversation about process, pressure, and persistence.

Mission Log activated. Incoming Transmission....
Had to have extra coffee this morning. But all for good reasons.
Had a great chat with Angel & John (Indie creator comics podcast) last night about SAORSA, the Kickstarter and Scottish actors being played by non Scots.
Releases Wednesday, in the meantime here's the site.

Funding application submitted for a project. Anyone who has had to do risk assessments and PVG policies know the pain and why I'm happy it's over
Been there, I particularly like to push the button for the elevator then get so impatient waiting on it, i take the stairs in a small panic like I must beat the elevator... Or maybe that's just me
Also had the pleasure to check out Tomb Raider thanks to comics bulletin. I can tell, Lara is far from done with the field.
Thanks to comic book yeti for allowing me to review this. A great read with some must see art.
Key art reveal for SAORSA.
A supernatural-noir comic set in post-collapse Scotland.
Launches on Kickstarter February 3.
Pre-launch page is live if you want to be notified.
A very different introduction than most (unless you hail from similar lands) but 13 year old me spent a lot of time at the But 'n' Ben
Thank you to Hilina & the team at Scatterhead comics for giving me an inside look at what they are building. It's pretty special.
