This is classic liberal feminism. It has long existed to prevent the structural change required to end patriarchal social relations.

There are other feminisms - and always have been.

In a society dominated by liberal discourses of "access" and "opportunity," liberal feminism is more easily heard.

I think if you asked the median person even on Bluesky to estimate exactly how many Jewish settlers live in occupied Palestinian territory most would be off by at least 300,000.

In other words more than 1 out of 10 Israeli Jews do not live in territory that is recognized by the international community to be Israeli land. An equivalent number would be, say, 34,000,000 Americans in Venezuela.

The Carney government’s active hostility to doing anything of substance when faced with Elon Musk’s CSAM operation may be the canary in the coal mine re Canadian tech sovereignty. If he won’t stand against (checks notes) child pornography, then what can we expect on Palantir?

Canada’s elbows-elevated ambition to secure digital & technological sovereignty faces a lot of practical hurdles.

But, at a minimum, it requires disentangling government and public services from at least this one company. If they continue to operate here, everything else is just hand-waving.
