TURNS OUT EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T USE MELD SPARK NOR HAVE ACCESS TO IT, IT WILL TAKE UP YOUR CPU USAGE AND POWER BY A LOT! So I've spent my entire afternoon now, JUST TO MOVE ALL MY OVERLAYS AND STUFF BACK TO OBS STUDIO, AND IM NOT EVEN DONE!

I noticed with a recent stream of mine, I kept lagging a bit, which annoyed me. Not only was the game lagging, so was my 3D model, and I HAVE THE SPECS TO HANDLE STREAMING AND MY 3D MODEL NOW! And then I noticed Meld was suddenly taking way more CPU power than it should. That alarmed me.

I TRIED TO SEE IF I COULD OPT OUT OF IT WHEN I UPDATED CAUSE I DONT PLAN TO USE IT EVER, AND I COULDN'T FOR SOME REASON. And I wouldn't have access to using it unless I paid a monthly plan, so I thought maybe I'd be okay with still using the app. It was not okay, very much not okay.

I WILL NO LONGER USE MELD STUDIO! HERE ARE THE REASONS WHY:
They implemented a feature called Spark, which is an AI PROMPTER to help streamers who can't draw or create stuff on their own to make overlays and some other things for streaming.
Streams starting next week need to be 2 days a week in general. Work is needing to be a priority.
