When I was a kid I would spend hours pulling the thistles out of this flower until all that was left were the soft petals. Then I would tickle my arm with the little fusica brush. I’ve applied that process to my life, again and again.

Hey Alabamians, Join us in the park tomorrow for walking meditation in the forest, gentle movement, deep sharing and lots of hugs if you want them! If there was ever a time we needed to create brave and inclusive spaces, it’s now.
This is what commUNiTY looks like. ✨After spending time around a fire and sharing our heart felt truths, we joined hands to radiate love out to our species and our planet. Then we worked together on the Green room… a small structure that can hold us when it rains. ✨

Each and every day we must actively choose the path of presence. There are so many man made distractions to block us from the clarity we seek. When we go to the woods and allow our senses to heighten, we naturally find our way back home to SELF.
There are so many beautiful heart centered humans on this planet. Let us not be fooled by what we see in the media. Instead, let us open our mind to the possibility that there are others that hold a vision for a more peaceful world. A world where we live in harmony with nature and each other.

Now, more than ever, we must spend time with the natural world. As humans, we were meant to be in right relationship with our environment. By slowing down and taking the time to “be” with the Earth, our nervous systems calm and our senses increase in power. We need this!
