Between my obsession with doing everything in a Trails game and I can not focus on a game anymore for the life of me, hey at least I made that first step forward in finally starting the Calvard arc.

Okay, so I'm basically forcing myself to start this game, but I promised a friend I would stop putting it off.

Even if I think it's going to take me 3-4 months to finish Daybreak at the bare minimum.

I haven't touched anime heavily in forever, so my tastes is a bit boomer-ish at this point. But I never liked calling myself an anime elitist despite my tastes does lean into that lmao.

Lately, I've been feeling very obsessed with chasing a satisfying feeling with Japanese games. They just don't feel "Japanese" enough to me.

I bought it at the NISA store years ago, back when Cold Steel 3 was the latest game to be localized. It might be hard to find now.

Plus I genuinely love and adore Altina so much. She's in my top 5 characters for Trails and the girl I love the most in the series besides Tio and maybe Renne. I love collecting merch for her so much ❤️🤍🐇.

I spent my income tax refund and picked up the Trails Beyond the Horizon Altina figure. Probably might be an irresponsible thing to do but hey, I deserve to treat myself well every once in a while.

I didn't feel like I started to truly shape my video game tastes until I was 13. So the games range from teenage favorites to more recent games I've played as an adult

Honorable mention goes to Soul Calibur 2.

The latest Nintendo Indie World was pretty decent. Nothing I'm super crazy about, but there were a few games that looked interesting to me that I want to try out.

I'm glad indies exist; they really get to tap into that weird, experimental side of gaming that we used to see in a lot of retro games.

This is the best side quest in Octopath 0. Especally since you can get an ability that lets you talk to animals.

I wish I had a cat that loves me 🥲

One thing I do love about the Octopath Traveler series is its amazing boss sprite art, since it's so much larger than the party's sprites. So you can see all of the glorious pixelated details well.

I'm so glad I waited for a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Xenoblade X since I wanted to re-experience the game the best way I could. Definitely will pick this up, although probably in April when the physical version comes out, since I'm not really in a rush for it atm.

Finished the Card en Ciel demo.

I really enjoy how unapologetically weeb Card en Ciel is. This guy got to battle a dude with a giantess fetish and a 32 feet tall robot since they're both from an adult visual novel.

I like the anime girl backgrounds that sometimes pop up in Card en Ciel

Got to love it when parts of the game is untranslated lol.
