Reject Mandatory Genetic Testing Add your name to the petition and call on Australia’s national sport organisations and administrators to reject the IOC’s exclusionary policy and include us all. Women’s sport deserves equal pay, equal respect, and equal resources. Every minute spent on distractions like this are minutes taken away from advancing women’s sport for everyone. We are calling on all National Sporting Organisations in Australia, including the Australian Olympic Committee and Australian Sport Commission to: Demand the IOC reject blanket bans and coercive tests to compete; Reject the adoption of SRY gene testing as a criterion for eligibility in women/girl category; Uphold state and federal Anti-Discrimination laws at all levels of competition. The International Olympic Committee is attempting to force unethical and unscientific testing on all competitors in the women and girl categories at the Olympic level. This new approach was developed behind closed doors by a secretive committee, ‘The Working Group on the protection of the female category’ and without appropriate consultation. No policy should be developed in this way, and especially not one that has the ability to roll back the progress we have made in women’s sport for the last 30 years. The new Guidelines completely reverse the current 2021 Framework on Fairness, Inclusion and Non-Discrimination, a document that is respected because it is informed by extensive consultation with over 250 athletes and experts. The current Guidelines recognise the need for sport-specific and evidence-based eligibility rules that respect human rights. The new Guidelines would almost certainly breach Australia’s existing anti-discrimination laws and frameworks including the National Integrity Framework (NIF), the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), Elite Youth Athlete (EYA) Guidelines, and fundamental human rights principles. Worse yet, we know that elite policies can often cascade into community sport, and push LGBTIQ+ people into the closet or out of sport altogether. Australian sports should adopt inclusion-first policies that are grounded in Australian law and in direct consultation with women with innate variations of sex characteristics and trans women.

Petition calling on Australian sports organisations to reject to International Olympic Committee's unscientific policy meant to exclude trans and intersex women.

Had to pop back to xitter for a quick check on something. It's really bad there, but I'm astonished at the posts from otherwise decent people maintaining their presence. Is posting to an audience of 75% bots really worth putting up with all the shit?

I was struggling to understand my autistic son - until we watched an episode of Doctor Who A combination of autism and ADHD caused outbursts, confusion and stress that my son couldn’t understand – until he saw David Tennant behaving the same way

Books? I only knew of one, How to Be Topp. Are there others? My inner 11 year old is dying inside

Because who can understand him anyway, right?

Fair enough. I watched the season in order as part of my series rewatch about 18 months ago and found Awakening very dull. Resurrection looks great but to me the script was just lots of nasty stuff happening and no wit or intrigue to connect it, with the TARDIS crew held at arm's length

Is it that strong? Caves is obviously a pinnacle but for me at least Frontios is the only other good story, somewhat let down by the monster design. The median is pretty low.

So obviously tonight's game was not good. The first half was dreadful, the second was a struggle but a slight improvement. But I've been following footy long enough to know that you win premierships in September, not March. Swans are a very good side and I hope we get a chance to play again in Sept

Our opponents next week, the bye, should be very worried about facing a Lions team desperate to make amends for this embarrassing display #aflswanslions

I'm losing my mind running through all the specific bits we'll get to see. Marc Cory's skeleton. Zephon exterminated. Tiny model Dalek in the jungle. When did Stephen change his outfit? How good does a bat on a stick look when directed by Douglas Camfield? Are there Varga in the jungle in Ep 1?
