Just a tiny correction that Germany did exist, it just called itself the Holy Roman Empire (of the German Nation). Prussia began as territory gifted to by a Masovian (Polish) prince to the Teutonic Order, and fiefdom of Poland. It became a kingdom later after much constituting European history :)

in some ways I still feel like my art looks the exact same as back in July 2025 when I started taking it more seriously. rationally I know I have improved somewhat, but most of the time I don't really see it. gotta love my imposter syndrome 😔

been trying to decide if I should maybe open some trial commission slots, but I'm not sure if I'm at a level where anyone would want to pay for my work lol.

I have a few more non-chibi designs in the works (mostly more Gale and a few Astarion) so I was thinking of doing separate "realistic" and chibi bundles, and one big bundle of both :)

I'm currently the opposite of creative and so completely exhausted. Not too long ago, I liked my art, I enjoyed exploring new things, and had so many ideas. Right now I'm just numb, I think.

Unfortunately, it's advanced cancer. It's inoperable, but we're trying chemotherapy treatment. I've been assured it won't make her more sick, and it might help stop the cancer from growing/spreading.
The vet bills are piling up, though. I'd never ask for help if I had another option...

A photo of a tortoiseshell senior cat, with her tongue out in a so-called "blep". She has a few white whiskers. This is my Jimmy. She's 12, and up until a few days ago, she was a very lovely, energetic kitty with the cutest meow and a healthy appetite. Unfortunately, on Wednesday (March 4), she started coughing. We rushed her to the vet, where she got initially diagnosed with pneumonia, given antibiotics, and sent home. She only got worse from there, and yesterday evening (Saturday, March 7) she had so much trouble breathing, we had to rush her to an emergency clinic where they performed a life-saving procedure of removing excess fluid from her lungs. The procedure was very risky in itself, but Jimmy survived and was very brave. She was very cuddly afterwards, purred up a storm, and was visibly better. The vet removed 300 ml of fluid from her lungs. We still don't have any idea what caused the sickness. Current theories range from cancer to mechanical injury of the lung. Jimmy is staying at the clinic, where she has the best care from one some the best veterinary staff I've ever met. She's eating, talking and trying to leg it from the examination table, from what I've been told. She's charmed all the staff by now, she's the cuddliest baby and she loves to interact with everyone. Tomorrow, she'll be getting a CT scan which will hopefully help point out the cause of her failing health. Hopefully, she'll be stable enough to be taken home tomorrow evening. We're ready to fight for her, but the costs are staggering. We've already paid over 500€ for what's been done so far. The hospitalization fee and the CT scan will come to a total of about 1500€. I would appreciate any help. I know that tomes are hard and life is expensive, but maybe someone has a few Euros to spare. It would mean the world.

One of my senior kitties, Jimmy, is sick. We don't know what it is yet, other than she has trouble breathing. More info in the alt text.
