Hanging around at Chew waiting for… Arctic Tern, 1, just appeared, stunning. Equally beautiful yesterday was an elusive female Garganey at Catcott. @birdguides.bsky.social

1st yr Bonaparte’s Gull here in a large field with BHGs now - Briantspuddle, Dorset @birdguides.bsky.social
That would be dangerously close to a civilised way to run things 😂
‘But they wouldn’t get the best people unless they’re paid millions’. Wait a minute, I’ve just thought about that for 8 nanoseconds and it’s clearly complete bullsh£t.
Ham Wall’s ‘2nd’ Ring-necked Duck is still around, skulking just south of vp2 today @birdguides.bsky.social

Terrific to see the Bonaparte’s Gull at Cheddar today, along with Scaup and Little Gull. Then Wheatear and LRP on Tealham, Pochard x Tufted hybrid on Glastonbury Heath, and a RN Duck at Long Drove. @birdguides.bsky.social
You get ‘more food per hectare’ if you’re plant based. That must help.
Could well be - has a largely white tail with a couple of black spots. Super find @glastobirder.bsky.social
2cy Bonaparte’s Gull at Cheddar Reservoir this morning from Axbridge entrance. Also 1w Little Gull.
