I’m also not sure McGuire would be as keen as most seem to assume.

Lots of reasons have been thrown around as to why Martin Jepson immediately appointed Danny McGuire.

Was it his ability to attract talent? Had Danny’s head been turned by someone else?

Ultimately, I think he was simply appointed because he’s a winner.

Seems to have gone down very well, looked to be quite a few in the line last night!

Do take your point, but at the end of the day it’s good business sense to drive demand and the club, ultimately, is a business that needs to make money to survive.

They wouldn’t release 3rd kits if they didn’t make the club money - no fan is obligated to buy them, but plenty obviously choose to!

The money made from releasing a 3rd kit could be the difference between signing an extra player and not, so personally I don’t have an issue with it at all

I really wasn’t sure what the reaction would be, but dare I say this has been the most positive reaction to an away kit in quite some time?

Incredibly saddened to hear that the great Keith Hepworth has passed away.

One half of Castleford’s greatest and most iconic half-back partnership - and a legend in his own right - Keith will be forever remembered.

Our thoughts are with his family at this time 🖤💛
