it seems the most important thing in this graph is install size on disk (any package that happens to bring along some cli tools who they themselves have some tech debt really tanks the ranking here)

GitHub has only 89% uptime right now
the mono-maintainer <-> AI experience so far:
AI: not related to our change, ignoring
Me: idgaf (also, you sure?): we have to fix it to get ci green
AI: oh, ok i'll investigate
(on repeat)
aaaand its X/Ying pretty hard ugh
( it's not my cable, it's not my monitor (windows and linux from other machines work fine) )
macOS has THE shittiest HDMI support on the planet.
Dios mio
yea that's nuts! and they're pretty regular at it, too
Awww, yeah ember is #3
gotta keep going :D
ember-source 6.12 is released!
This is a fun release because it begins a massive cleanup effort with the merge of the "glimmer-vm" repo in to the ember codebase!
Changelog highlights here: github.com/emberjs/embe...
stay tuned for the rest of the core 6.12 release π
Ccccc. Don't use LLMs for art.
i'm continually mystified why otherwise smart people keep publishing llm-assisted essays. the bla IS the bla; it's not foo, it's bar. look this shit just sucks to read, pls stop this
@ignacemaes.com is live now at @embereurope.org with his demo of shadcn-ember!! looking forward to this talk
Next up for @embereurope.org we have @davidtaylorhq.bsky.social talking about @discourse.org @vite.dev and @emberjs.com π
" @emberjs.com is much simpler than @react.dev these days" π±
Wow that's some spicey takes but I'm here for it! πΆοΈ
"That is how you can incrementally migrate your @react.dev app to @emberjs.com" π
it's not often that you see @tanstack.com Router show up in an @emberjs.com talk π this is real mad science and I'm loving it!!!
I've personally done everything that @nullvoxpopuli.com is doing right now, but I'm still on the edge of my seat! πΏ this is a wonderful talk, and a really wonderful way to give a talk too!
guuuiiiiiiissssseeee
Yeah, i switched to tanstack router and everything is behaving much better, thank you!
actually, should I not be using react-router?
ok, but why?
What is this?
How often does that happen?
So many wannabe tech influencers are generating AI garbage with patterns from years ago.
Way more code than is needed for simple tasks -- re-implementing T H E P L A T F O R M
every line of code is a liability.
You want the least amount of code as possible.
The countdown has begun β next Thursday itβs time for the first #EmberEurope of 2026! πΉ

Silly academic fun thing tho!
Regular languages must have no nested ambiguity via strings, xml, or comments
Hm
this is why I always tell them to use actual AST transformations instead of regex.
LLMs love regex.
regex cannot very well parse syntax tho
We need tools to guide the LLMs with minimal error-rate tho
