fitting a big production like a game around life is hard. sometimes i'll have a busy period because of life, family or work, and then i'll go months without game progress. that sucks!! but making a product isn't the only important thing - unless you need the money to pay bills, then that's tougher!!
i get how you feel 100%!! for me, it's a hobby and i would always be doing it for fun even if i never finish a game. I've used that as motivation to stick through with this one. Still far off which can be demotivating & affects my self-worth, but I enjoy the process like any other passtime
so maybe the ai bubble might burst or something.. but will ai actually ever go away? it's annoying and i would like them to turn it off please

this sounds reasonable, to be honest whenever i see "smart features" i instinctively turn them off, even if I don't know it involves AI, just because things being "smart" is usually annoying
