Great visit with Keith Thornton and Caroline Gallagher at Torque Ford in Brisbane. Competition is intensifying from rivals like Toyota & from Chinese brands (Torque is right next door to a BYD dealership). Got a better understanding here of what dealers are hearing and what customers are expecting.

This “Big Shed” facility can hold upwards of 650 vehicles at a time. Seeing the scale of operations & ways Rangers are serving many different industries was inspiring. Proud that Ford is helping provide the tools needed to support the Essential Economy all around the world!
At Q Automotive Group in Springwood, I got to see just how important Ford vehicles are to our commercial customers. This is the largest Ford pre-delivery and upfitting center in Australia and they upfit vehicles for customers ranging from small businesses all the way up to big government fleets.
A hardware store parking lot is a great place to see Ford trucks in action. Contractor Josh Reisenleiter told me Ranger is essential for his job. He uses one for work & liked it so much he bought one for personal use. Helpful to see how people utilize storage & upfit their trucks to fit their needs.
We ran hands-on payload comparisons between Ranger and some of our competitors. There’s a lot of competition in this space, but getting insights directly from the people who rely on their trucks to get their jobs done is what helps us make sure we’re always improving.
Put a few trucks to the test on a produce farm in Gatton, Queensland. Thank you to David McNeil and his family for taking time out of their busy day to give me a tour of their fleet of work vehicles. Got very helpful feedback to bring back to our team.

Loved meeting the Ford Rangerettes in Australia! A community of 4,500+ women who live the Ranger lifestyle — modifying their Rangers for off-roading, caravaning & taking group drives to remote areas. They showcase what being a Ranger owner is all about: capability, community & love of adventure.
Ranger has been the best-selling vehicle in Australia for the past 3 years, so being on the ground to speak directly with customers & better understand the competitive landscape here is so important. Excited about the insights we'll be taking home to help drive our future plans & product lineup.
Seqwater, South East Queensland’s water authority serving over 3M people, just added their first Super Duty in their fleet of 300 Rangers. Glad I could talk with them about their day-to-day experience w/ Ranger. Always inspiring to see Ford vehicles supporting essential services like water security.
Spent time w/ the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service learning about their vital work as first-responders for emergencies, firefighting & conservation. They operate in tough terrain, so reliability is a must. Makes sense Ranger Super Duty is tested here! Great to learn from such an impressive team
