The Christmas Tree Star Cluster / Cone Nebula is located about 2,700 light-years away. Stars are actively being born is this area. I captured this from my sidewalk this past March.

The Rosette Nebula, located 5300 light years away, is named after it rose appearance. I captured this from my sidewalk this past winter over the course of several nights.

Captured in September of 2025, this is our closest galactic neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy. Roughly 2.5 million light-years away, it is comprised of over 1 trillion stars, making it much larger than our home galaxy.
