problematic section of the board. this pin on p98 should be sending AC voltage back to the pump only when the computer issues the command, however it currently is shorted to one of the 24vac rails

so we've still got to find a replacement cable, but while we've got the bad cable cleaned up and working again (for now) I'm now moving on to a stabilizer replenisher pump that is stuck on, even though the CPU thinks its not.

blue bundled board down near a main board. wiggling this end of the cable showed spotty continuity for the 'door open/closed' signal

other side of the previous cable connector. this cable is hard to find on eBay and may be better off rewired.

detailed of the main processing boards on the machine. the PSU boards are mounted further down these ones.

replacing a corroded AC side capacitor drain resistor on the 5v PSU brought voltage from ~4.3-4.4v to ~4.8v on the breakout board which powers the door open/closed Hall effect sensor

The Loading Cover Door sensor signal wasnt making it back to the main board (this initiates the processing cycle). Celanor and I resolved a low 5v rail coming from a secondary PSU and traced the bad signal to a corroded cable that runs 3 feet from the loading breakout board down to the main.

A photo lab near me had this Noritsu V50 sitting dead in their lab for over a year and I convinced them to let me try and take a stab at fixing it.

Earlier this week, with the electrical troubleshooting help of the lovely @celanor.org, we finally got it accepting leader cards and rolls.
