I use the American format mostly but sometimes use the US military/rest of the world but with month spelled out way: 4 May 2026.

And to make sure I was right, even though I knew I was, I went & found the email receipt for the last time I got buttered noodles in said airport before commenting on the reference. Dinner sorted, then.
Newark is so odd. But I kind of like it. Or I like that I can order buttered noodles from my seat and they’ll bring it to me while the built in iPad tells me of any flight changes.
Because buttered noodles. That they’ll bring to me.

A few years back, I attended a Jimmy Buffett concert where I was given Nissan branded sunglasses. They’re red. I wore them today by chance. To a Jimmy Buffett cover band concert. I was again gifted sunglasses. They’re rainbow. And yeah. They’re Subaru branded. 🤣🏳️🌈🚙

Weird given this convo and Scrubs nostalgia. Picked up a box of random stuff from the ex today. And this was in it.
Yeah… this time around, it’s the burnout that hits hardest. That and the lifelong helpers you lean on. The struggle is real. And never ending.
Watching it now. It made me cry yesterday & today. I know this is always possible w/ Scrubs. And yet it’s still always a bit of a surprise.
As a fifty-something who was a baby doc when they were, it hits a bit hard sometimes. I suspect differently than for non-medical types, but yeah. It’s good.
We had to mostly get rid of them every time we moved to make weight. (Military thing - household can only weigh so much.) Books are heavy.
The spine is coming unglued, but whatcha gonna do?
I owned less than half a dozen books as a kid. We read a lot but weren’t allowed to buy books because we could get them from the library for free. So those I owned were precious. We had shared Golden books, etc. But I owned just a few for me.
