Thanks for the photos!
Very impressive!
I had a joke about Prometheus but it wasn’t funny. Probably because of the endlessly repeating delivery
I was so happy to see this precede my talk about the value of simplicity! Inadvertent tag-teaming
Looking forward to this!
If you missed it, @geoffreybunting.bsky.social wrote a comprehensive and heartfelt retrospective on #RescueOnFractalus, my first game at #LucasfilmGames #LucasArts in honor of its 40th anniversary. Lots of videos, great quotes, covering this magical time.

I've played recent versions and this is fantastic! Please consider jumping in, it's an amazing leap forward in worlds you can interact with.
Congrats to my friends/colleagues at Freestyle+ aka Mindless Play for their big win at CES: www.linkedin.com/posts/freest...
This article suggests we may be on the verge of a apocalyptic technology (no, not AI). But in Roger Zelazny's "Doorways in the Sand", a favorite of mine from decades ago, he suggested it might also make cheap scotch taste great, so there's that!

Especially when consumed!
I can't argue with the choice of the top two games here 😀. I remember discussions with @davidbfox.com and @grumpygamer.com about abruptly ending the IJ&TLC game by punching Hitler was a good idea, I'm glad for at least this reviewer appreciated it! www.si.com/videogames/g...
The two categories had a lot in common
Not one of my best efforts, but I'll take the "Uniqueness" as a win:

To paraphrase Cole Porter, it's delightful, it's delovely, it's designers..
I discovered that principle by mentioning a feature in the game manual that we failed to implement, then after launch players started complimenting us on it.
I've got mixed feelings about this, with so many good associations with the original. It was a key part of Spielberg's pitch to us on The Dig, he's a fan too - shame he isn't in on the remake, he would take it seriously. Fingers crossed.
Hello all! Didn't try this in the first wave when I ditched X, I'm glad to see lots of other friends here, #gamedev and otherwise
I bonded with Dani Bunten over the realization we loved making games because it was one of the few times in our childhood our whole family came together in a happy activity. But your reason is equally poignant!
