Genoa was interesting for us. We drove there from Milan having determined that car hire was cheaper there, and we drove the elevated autostrada section that collapsed tragically. Breathtaking scenery, slightly hairy bends when all you can see is treetops no obvious terra firma. #DigiBlogChat

A9. We have a lavendar border which is nice, and we spend more time trying to understand what is good for our bees so we can do more, but we have a way to go yet. We put nuts and bird food out for the smaller birds #DigiBlogChat

We've got a chickadee nesting by the front door in a hanging planter. So now we walk around the back as much as possible so we don't get scolded! #DigiBlogChat
