I think 75 gallons is an excellent size. I’ve owned 125 and 110 gallons. I have a 55g and 20g now. The 55g isn’t as long (front to back) as I’d like. 75g is better.

20 gallon update. No fish loss, been a few months since I put fish in the tank. I rearranged the hard scape and plants.

Ember tetras and emerald rasboras doing fine. Orange flame apisto pair also fine. Very peaceful tank to enjoy while I’m thinking.

Wish the canister filter had black tube joints.

This 20 gallon fish tank in my home office has two Apistogramma and some snails. And plants. I like to pack my aquariums with plants.

You’re right! It’s not really a tax. I think many food allergy people refer to it as a tax jokingly. That’s the way I meant it.

Our kid has food allergies. That tax hits the food allergy crowd, too. Egg & milk & tree nut free cookies? Sure, but you’ll be shelling out for it.
