There aren’t “DEI hires”—there are companies committed to not hiring under qualified white men over more qualified minority candidates. Yes, that shouldn’t have to be a stated policy, but it has to be a stated policy. If it didn’t, we wouldn’t have white men clamoring to get rid of it.
