Exciting news! Another Stylophora is now available at TerraReef!
We sourced a frag from a vendor who claims to "quarantine" their livestock & sells 100% aquacultured corals. We then QTed it for 246 days, removed the frag plug, & dipped multiple times. Since 8/11/2022 it's been in propagation here.

Pinwheel Candy Cane Coral Frags
Added a few WYSIWYG corals earlier today. Pinwheel Candy Cane corals have been popular recently. Very hardy beginner LPS coral. Keep 1.5-2" between them & other corals. The green Candy cane in the image is just on the edge of where they can reach and may need to be moved soon. #TerraReef
While these corals aren't commonly kept in reef tanks for good reasons, we still thought this was kind of cool.

At the top, frag racks hold WYSIWYG corals lined up for their photo shoots. Below them, larger colonies are growing out. And right in the center, swimming through that Aussie Gold Torch? Our permanent guest through three moves—the black and white clownfish who never left.

Multiple sources state these tropical species (may be Diadema setosum) as often living 3.5 years. On 2/8/2013 this black long spine sea urchin entered TerraReef’s quarantine. Thirteen years later “Spikey”, as our family calls him, is still in our care. Our kids consider him one of their pets.
