Ive said before that the mid 90s brought dance music to lots of audiences (musically for better or for worse)..
The Prodigy brought the metal crowd to dance music while Underworlds involvement on the Trainspotting film attracted the indie crowds..
Listening to those first 2 Prodigy albums, they are brilliant fun & Howlett gets overlooked as a teenager making those records..
It’s funny, they were already THE punk band they were chasing, before slowly hardened into something closer to a parody version of "punk".
Pure rave and dance intent.
