Catppuccin JetBrains v3.6.0 just got a whole lot prettier 👀
The new “Islands” theme has landed and it’s giving clean, modern, and super readable vibes! Think softer contrasts, calm colors, and a UI that actually makes long coding sessions feel less draining.
Put a lot of work into this one! Particularly around improving the contrast when using Latte.
The motivation to work on this really does come and go, since the development process is, frankly, pretty bad. IDE restarts to try out simple changes, internal panes not inheriting colours, etc...
Lots of deps upgrades that were overdue for a long time 🙏
eslint v8 -> v9
storybook v8 -> v9
shiki v1 -> v3
and so on and so forth...
Hoping to get around to more features/fixes when time permits.
On a more realistic note, it's probably crazy how many times I've typed Catppuccin or seen those hex codes over the last 3 years lol
