I think the Media misjudged the #SolidarityWithStarmer in the electorate. They believed their own hype. Which is the trouble with being in a bubble.
People feel better off and can see money being invested in our Country. People are not mugs. They can see Starmer is decent and on their side.

This perfectly encapsulates why we need the BBC
Ellie,I'm a Labour Party member and can assure you I for one will not be voting fo your hard earned rights to be taken from you. I also know that I am not alone. Your profile tells me all I need to know about your value to your country. Take care. Regards. OFT
Quick recap. No mass exodus from private to state schools. No exodus of non Doms. No mass redundancies from leading businesses but recruitment a bit shaky. Mortgages down. Interest rates down. Growth up a tad. But consistent. Starmer doing well on int stage. NHS improving. LABOUR
My daughter, a GP receptionist. 2 sons 6 & 2. Since Labour her min wage has ⬆️making her £20 pw better off. In Sept 2 yr old gets 30 hours. She’ll be able to earn £240 a week more in term time. Her 6 year old in breakfast club and wrap around after school care. This matters a lot to young families

Been a full on week for Labour. I’ve gathered just a few highlights. Most important in my view, is Mone. Being held accountable for her failed PPE supply. I hope we get our money back. Daylight robbery under Labour does not pay
The Labour vision is to get the infrastructure repaired/in place. Build more homes, improve wages, sort transport and get more investment in UK . Alongside a better performing NHS. They need to start promoting this vision everywhere.
How a ‘Populist’ Media Has Mainstreamed the Far Right
“Right-wing daily papers in the UK do not represent ‘public opinion’ – they simply reflect the radical right views of those ‘who own and run them”

Call me old fashioned but I like listening to Evan because he provides information which helps me make my own decisions. I rely on the quality of his journalism to colour in the complicated picture surrounding a subject. Pandering to right wing diktats is not the answer. Just give us the facts fcs.

Well AWFTV maybe it's time for www.wolvesrecords.com
to pull out their finger and promote a competition amongst the fans to find a suitable original song. There should be enough interest out there for a budding songwriter fan. Otherwise the chorus of Aurora - Running with the Wolves for starters.
Any particular tuning there Garron?
Kemi Badenoch has supported Israel deporting two British MP's saying, "I'm not surprised Labour MP's were removed."
How utterly disgraceful.
Sounds like a plan
Wolfie, think you might have scored an own goal there😏😟 but in fairness to you, under GON I did have my doubts about Sarabia but under Vitor think he plays with more confidence. His passing game has significantly improved.
How's this work? @andrewgoodwin.bsky.social :
'China is one of the largest foreign holders of US debt, second only to Japan. As of May 2024, China-based investors held $768.3 billion worth of US government debt. '
Maybe they could demand their money back?
(Expecting this to get lost in the ether)
Wolfie, a big part of that is down to the arrival of Agbadou. He is pivotal. I've said it before but couldn't the South Bank create a chant along the lines of 'Agbadou do, do, push us further up the league' or something like that. Think he has definitely earned a chant of some description.😁😏

Can’t pay? He’ll take it away! Reform will scrap the NHS and replace free healthcare with private health insurance.
Nigel Farage would love to take us & our NHS down the American route!
Never support or vote for Reform!

List of Labour pledges this week
This week’s list of Labour’s pledges. It’s a big week and none of this amplified by MSM. Please search for more detail all can be verified. My points have to be succinct to fit on list. Happy Friday!
I'm somewhere in the middle of this. I live on a shitty council estate and my wife is disabled and so are a number of her family.
It needs to be easier to get those benefits. I'm sick of banging heads with imbeciles.
But also it needs to be harder to game the system. ... more
If you'd spent your time reading up on TW you would know that they borrowed £3bn off institutional investors at 9.75%.(Source - excellent BBC2 doc on Thames Water aired last night) But hey ho please don't let your ignorance get in the way of slating a Gov trying to sort a mess they have inherited.
I know we are a team but I'm sure there is only one bloke who is going to keep us up and that is, as everyone keeps saying, Cunha 🤔.. (Sorry Gareth, not sure, but is that how you spell Agbadou🤭😉)
Think that was pretty close Gareth, are you a mystic in your spare time. Nice one son. Couple of queries that I have -how's it going to go with the Saints and will we stay up?
