I’m still safe. Ghost is safe. Friends are physically safe but people have lost homes and my own is a big ??? atm, similar to many people right now I’m sure.
I really REALLY try not to vent publicly. My frustrations are no one else’s problem but fuck. I’m just feeling a bit busted up rn.

All to say… I haven’t rly recovered from the COVID isolation. I disassociate a lot. Weird moments like that push me further from the ground & these fires shook something loose in my head. I’m just gonna go back to basics and draw for a bit.

Oh this moment, I never shared this publicly, but ppl made a meme of my face from that recording. It’s my wiki pic. I had one of the saddest weirdest days of my life & I see my half-crying face all over my feed staring back at me.
Not blaming anyone. The context was kinda funny, but it was! Surreal!

This feels like going to an empty warehouse to record my thank you message for receiving a Peabody in the middle of Covid, smoking on the curb, and immediately learning I couldn’t go to my aunt’s funeral because of flying restrictions.

I was actually looking forward to 2025 (election aside), especially the first few months. EVERYTHING I had been working on in 2024, all that hard work, was planned for 2025 and now I can’t feel a fucking thing outside of worry and loss. I’m so fucking tired of feeling hopeless and scared.
