Over 20 years ago, UCL EEE and Tech Mahindra pioneered remote learning, with UCL EEE delivering courses on Telecommunications technology to Tech Mahindra employees in India via bespoke infrastructure deployed in the department to enable remote connections.
UCL Engineering has worked with colleagues in UCL’s Office for the Vice Provost Advancement (OVPA) to develop this partnership, which reinvigorates a longstanding relationship between UCL Electronic and Electrical Engineering (UCL EEE) and Tech Mahindra.

As part of the Resilience programme, Jahafar helps deliver modules to train industry experts and academics in downstream processing. Plus, Jahafar manages the social media page for Resilience and works in outreach for the younger generation.
In a biochemical process, there’s an upstream and a downstream. The upstream is concerned with what happens at a very small, often cellular scale, while the downstream aims to purify the process.
