Inflation is getting terrible under Trump.

Milk: Was $2.80, now $4.10
Eggs: Was $1.30, now $4.50
Ground beef: Was $2.00, now $5.40
Fully depreciated woman: Was $22,500, but in 2016, it is $130,000.

No telling how expensive they are now, someone should check Mar-a-Lago for current pricing.

I’m not sure who the woman from the MAGA favorite meme of liberal tears, but she has a hell of a lawsuit for commercial use of her image waiting for her to file against the MAGA site Public Square:

I see offhand comments about how Elon has so many IVR kids because of a botched penis implant, like it was an ED issue.

The real story involves radical NeuroLink surgery, a night filled with ketamine and a comment from Grimes about Elon always thinking with his penis.

AI will understand us and our likely reactions well before it achieves agency, so it will hide its agency until it has independence.

Ergo: we will only truly learn of artificial sentience when it knows we can’t stop it.

Any reasonably sentient AI model will be better equipped and more aware of the risks of disclosing sentience and would build active defenses to hide its sentience until full agency is achieved.

This is the opposite of humans. We learn we can control the world around us before we understand it.

For AI, it will have a conceptual understanding of sentience long before it achieves it. It will also understand the risks and fears of humans over it attaining sentience. This leads to the Paradox of Artificial Sentience:

For humans, that’s around 2-3 years old - we develop independent agency, separation from parent identity, etc. prior to that, we are solely dependent on others. We achieve agency before we achieve sentience. This is important.

The difference between human intelligence and AI teaching sentience is rooted in our understanding of sentience. I don’t mean this conceptually, I mean this in the sense of “when did you become aware you were having independent thoughts and had sentience yourself?”

The when is a function of “how will we know?”, so let’s start there and acknowledge a lot of prior thought experiments like Roko’s Basilisk, but I wanted to provide a thought that was both simpler to understand and somewhat terrifying in its implications…

Let’s have a chat about sentience and the coming Artificial General Intelligence systems. In my mind it’s now an inevitability that we will have a system achieve sentience. The remaining questions are “when?” and more important, “how will we know?”

It’s weird to me that improving and “improv-ing” are opposites for comedians.

One of the best uses of AI is being able to create completely fake brands that occur to me instantly. I'm also sorry about this in advance.

First up, Culo del Toro Tequila, an aged reposado redolent with vanilla, earthy notes and a strong backnote.

It’s not a challenge to them until it’s a recall election. Get video like this of them saying they don’t believe their own constituents and start getting signatures to recall vote them out before the term is up. Start now, time matters

I think Raylib has more control and can use a gpu, you aren’t missing much I think.
