When the Pope speaks truth to power, the world listens. "Woe to those who manipulate religion in the very name of God for their own military, economic, or political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth. The world is being ravaged by a handful of tyrants..."
For the fourth time, Senate Republicans (except Rand Paul) blocked a resolution to stop Trump from bypassing Congress on military action against Iran. Call your Senators today and demand an explanation from those who voted to keep this war going (and thank those who supported the resolution).
Contact the Kentucky Public Service Commission and urge them to vote no to LG&E’s requests for new natural gas generators intended to power the facility.

The billionaire "boys club" thinks they can use KY as a playground for AI data centers while we foot the bill. They call it an "investment," but we know what it means:
Skyrocketing utility bills for families.
Using millions of gallons of water/day.
Working people pushed out of their own homes.
Governor Beshear hit the nail on the head. This isn't about politics. It's about basic decency and the respect we should expect from any president.
"Ya'll in Hungary just showed us how it’s done!! The Orban people did everything they could to F with this election, just like Trump and his people will do here. And the people voted in such huge numbers that they overcame it anyway. That is how it’s done! @jesscraven101.bsky.social

Feeling lucky? It's in the air!
Some say luck is the result of strategizing, planning, and showing up.
That’s what we’re doing as we prepare for No Kings 3.0 on March 28.
Luck is great. But action is what changes things.
If you’re interested in volunteering, email sharpobjects502@proton.me.
The Pentagon reported that 1 week of the war cost $11.3 billion! In addition to the tragic number of lives lost, look at how that money could be used: SNAP food assistance: $186B cut over 10 years = $18.6B/year. 1 week of war = 7 mo’s of food for 1 in 5 American children who depend on the program.
The Senate is expected to vote on this VERY SOON. 📞 Call your Senators NOW at (202) 224-3121. Tell them: "Vote NO on the SAVE Act. Protect our right to vote, don't restrict it!"
Rand Paul: 202-224-4343 Mitch McConnell: 202-224-2541
Don't let a microscopic problem cause a massive voting crisis! 🛑 Data from the Heritage Foundation (authors of the dreadful Project 2025) found only 77 cases of non-citizens successfully voting out of over 1B ballots cast (0.00000764%). The SAVE Act would disenfranchise 21 million Americans.
It’s been a busy week for SO. From Tuesday's brigade to speaking at Metro Council in the hopes they will hold ICE accountable. And we couldn’t be more honored to fight the fight alongside some of the best people.
The Brigade was one for the books - moments like these remind us why this work matters.
