also like... it blows my mind that jewish folks don't realize how easily we could have been in the position of palestinians. we could all have been relegated to a tiny parcel of land and constantly antagonized, starved, tortured, and murdered while people called us animals and the darkness.

israel does not need to commit genocide to be safe. it needs a new government. it needs negotiations. it needs to end apartheid. it needs to end the occupation. we have all lost so much because of this endless occupation. we can literally stop at any time.

i'm jewish. i have much family that perished in the holocaust. i have family who survived and thrived. i know what a genocide is. there is nothing weird or controversial about wanting to stop a genocide. the sooner we call it what it is the sooner we can stop it.
