The Super Mario Galaxy Movie The Super Mario Galaxy Movie 2026 I mentioned this in my review for the first Super Mario Bros Movie just a few days ago but this was my first theater trip since having a date night with my wife to see the Naked Gun back in August. This time around I took my older daughter to this movie as she's a big Mario and specifically Rosalina fan so we had to go see this one together. We waited a week because it was tracking to be a pretty huge opening weekend and I prefer a less crowded theater so we waited until its second weekend and went to a fairly early Sunday showing where there were only about 3 other families in the theater (although the one with the youngest kids initially sat a few rows in front of us until someone pointed out that they weren't in their correct assigned seating so they moved a couple rows behind us, but about 4 different times in the next 30 minutes, the dad went back to the row they were sitting at with his phone as a flashlight trying to find something or other on the floor).

I actually saw a movie in theaters! And wrote about it! Its-a the Super Mario Galaxy Movie!

The Super Mario Bros. Movie The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023 I actually saw this movie in theaters when it came out three years ago, mainly because my family are all big Mario fans, but also with the intention of reviewing it here on this site. But after watching it, procrastination got the better of me and the days turned into weeks, the weeks into months, and by then my memory isn't good enough to try to write a review for the movie so I wrote it off. And now with the sequel in theaters now, I thought it was a good time to revisit the movie before going to theaters with my oldest daughter to watch the new movie.

I watched Super Mario Galaxy in theaters yesterday, but I had to share my thoughts on the first movie.

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For Sin City: A Dame To Kill For 2014 I think more than any movie before it, this had the quickest drop from being a movie that I had been looking forward to the most to being a movie that I was dreading watching. All after I started hearing all the negative reviews coming in from many of my fellow reviewers who were watching early screenings. It warned me away so much that I avoided seeing this movie opening weekend. Although I wouldn't have had to worry about my other usual concern when seeing a movie opening weekend as the crowds wouldn't have been an issue with the tepid $6 million opening.

Top 10 Wasted Potential Comic Book Movies Many of us know the feeling when there's a movie announced that's an adaptation of a novel or comic book movie that we know and love. And unfortunately there's also many of us that know the heartbreak when that adaptation fails to live up to the potential of the source material. This list is about those movies that took a comic book and turned it into a mediocre movie, but it had the potential to be something great. Note, I am making this list based on the potential of the world and concepts that I can infer based on what's presented in the movie, I have not read or am familiar with any of the original source comic books/graphic novels.

I write up a list of my top 10 comic book movies that completely wasted the potential of the interesting concept set up by the original story.

I'd also describe "Village of the Angels" as "fairly solid in comparison to the rest of the era" but it's the fourth episode of the Flux season and doesn't entirely stand alone.
