"Y'know I think about the end of the world a lot too, why couldn't I have gotten the end of the world?"
Cara, grumbling about her 50s glam nightmare
Posts by Tanith
And we wake back on the floor of the study. The insomniac sleeping soundly, not dreaming.
Finding our way onto a spooky old-timey steam train cutting through nightmare realms, fighting sleep study nightmares that flicker in and out as we go to get to the front.
Simon traps the main nightmare, Cara fights the Chaos Mage on top of the train and does the approaching tunnel trick.
She yoinks us into nightmares. Simon in a post-apocalypse wasteland. Alissa at the others' funerals. Michael in endless police processing. Cara stuck in the 1950s. Didi in high school taking a math test!
Simon breaks out first as his nightmare is too big to keep up. He gets us out and we give chase
4.09: The Mad Science Of Sleep
The Chorister doctor gets the circle access to a university sleep study, and there are Nightmare spirits circling around it, trying to get at the insomniac subjects when they have microsleep moments. Simon confronts one and we find a Chaos Mage working with it!
Illustration by Abigail Larson depicting a gothic re-imagining of the "Beauty and the Beast" fairytale. A satyr-like monster is seated next to a Victorian woman on a couch in front of a grotesque fireplace. The monster has a look of surprise on his face as the woman kisses him.
An unexpected kiss 🖤
Holy fuck
New Tom Waits and Massive Attack song is dark and angry about state abuse and injustice, and almost feels like they wrote the song so that they could release the video, which is basically a slideshow of photos by thefinaleye, from BLM protests, January 6th, etc

Melody Valentine (Tara Reid), Josie McCoy (Rachel Leigh Cook), and Valerie Brown (Rosario Dawson) standing with their instruments in front of a sign that reads “#1 Band in the World”
Fiona (Parker Posey) and Wyatt Frame (Alan Cumming) sat on Fiona’s bed
Alexandra Cabot (Missi Pyle) sat on a plane saying “I'm here because iwas in the comic book.”
Les (Alexander Martin) of DuJour reminding everyone “DuJour means friendship!”
Happy 25th anniversary to the best movie ever
Artemis II crew back safe!
Update: complete.
Big Easter egg opened because why not.
Happy day of eggs and bunnies and that as applicable!
Fly true, Artemis II.
Have a safe Internet Bullshit Day!
4.08: Reap The Whirlwind
Chaos Mages trying to use the nightmare cloud's power. Chasing through several bad dreams, having to resist them turning our own fears against us, and at one point having to stop a runaway cable car they caused to delay us and add more panic.
Niles: It wasn‘t really your finest hour, was it?
Fraiser: I thought it was a novel idea for treatment. How was I meant to recognise the great clown Pagliacci without makeup?
wouldn't it be funny if EVERYONE blocked this Attie AI account @ bsky.app/profile/atti... before they could do anything with it
Ah yes, "summer".
A season of long days and warm weather, allegedly starting now.
We have dismissed this claim.
Me blocking someone
Ready Or Not (2) Here I Come is pretty fun, though it makes a big retcon its emotional core and can't match the "wait, what?" original. And one scene that really made me wince, intercut with a funny one. But it has Sarah Michelle Gellar as a surprisingly un-comedic villain alongside some funny ones.
And now we have enough data, it looks like the Bad Thing is a precursor to an apocalyptic threat...
4.07: All You Can Eat
A nightmare monster in a hospital. (This is a M.A.S.H. reference!)
Simon pretends to be a doctor and Alissa a physiotherapist to get the group in. Didi's door power helps locate and corner the monster. Cara and Michael stomp it flat. (This is a Buffy reference. ;) )
Looks fun!

Happy St. Patrick's Day as applicable!
And then we get tacos.
If nothing else she looks after Cara's nice new going-out jacket while she bashes some vampires.
So the circle gets to chill in their various preferred ways (apart from Simon) because there are chances to drink, dance, flirt, and indeed fight monsters. Didi is up for the first three of those, and kind of helps with the fourth.
Simon is like "nah" to clubbing and we're nice about it but he agrees to be sober companion, even though Alissa will be doing that as well she'll be busy on the dancefloor.
Cara will be on the lookout for monsters.
Michael will be on the lookout or loose women.
4.06: Clubbing Episode
Look, we have to get the Ecstatics to help, right?
Of course we're getting dressed up.
A Firefly cartoon? Okay?
