I love how vibrant you’re able to get the colors, and I found that when I was painting mine started leaning more dull.

Oh that’s an interesting technique! I was experiencing a lot of unwanted mixing when I was starting because I made mistake of using too much white too soon and then everything became chalky. Do you find that’s the best way to maintain more contrast in your colors?

I’ve been wanting to try my hand at gouache more this year! Do you have any tips or references that helped you in your journey? This piece is so beautiful!
