From Starter to Reliever to Starter Again | Baseball Prospectus A look at two pitchers in the midst of making the switch (again).

Last year, just two pitchers under 25 had a DRA- below 70 (lower is better). I would ask you to guess, but it's impossible without seeing the leaderboard: Grant Taylor & Justin Wrobleski. Now they're both converting to the rotation. @baseballprospectus.com

Basketball is great because you get four slomo replays of a guy getting kicked in the nuts.

if you’re not from New Jersey this sounds like a gross exaggeration but it truly is not

When Amed Rosario crushed that homer at 112.1 mph EV, I was thinking I didn't know he could do that. Turns out, he hadn't before. That's the highest EV of his career, beating the 111.5 he hit in 2021.

We're looking down on Wayne's basement. Only that's not Wayne's basement. Isn't that weird?

I have lost ALL respect for Austin Wells! His favorite movie. Ever! Is... Revenge of the Sith?? There are at least 11 better Star Wars movies.

C'mon, that can't be true! It's not like you can have a successful franchise just anywhere! Could you imagine a major sports team in a little place like, I dunno, Green Bay, Wisconsin? It would never work.

I've been to White Sox games. I've never waited in line for an hour to get into the stadium or for concessions like I have at Yankee Stadium.

Lifelong Yankees fan. Between everything Jay mentioned and the huge lines to get into the stadium and at concession booths (I've spent multiple innings in line for an overpriced bucket of flavorless dry chicken), I would rather go to literally any other ballpark than Yankee Stadium.

And yes, his best defensive position is probably outside linebacker.

Oh, he's extremely bad true talent against lefties, but the guy who almost led the league in all the EV stats shouldn't have on-contact results THAT bad in any split as he did against lefties last year.

If you simulated peak Kershaw the pitcher against Kershaw the hitter 1000 times, the hitter Kershaw would be better than Cruz was against lefties last year. It's an unrepeatable anomaly.

It is impossible for him to be as bad against lefties as he was last season. It was one of the worst seasons vs LHP ever, and even if he strikes out 50% of the time against them, he hits the ball too damn hard to be that bad on contact again.

My uncle just texted me that he discovered this incredible freak basketball player who's 7'4" and shoots like a guard, and I'm like yeah, I've heard of him.
