It was previously reported that Season 56 of SESAME STREET will be restructured into two 11-minute episodes, with a new animated short series, TALES FROM 123, in between.

Season 56 of SESAME STREET will premiere on Netflix worldwide and on PBS, same day.

This is a change from the current (and soon ending) HBO Max deal, which debuted new episodes exclusively behind HBO Max's paywall, then free on PBS nine months later.
