Fabulous evening with @lucyportercomic.bsky.social at The Ropetackle in Shoreham. What an authentic, warm, open, friendly woman. She was also very funny indeed. Thanks so much!

Life drawing this week. Very rusty! Thanks to @marianomodelovivo.bsky.social and Adele Wagstaff
That’s very kind - thank you 🙏
The image features a porcelain figurine with an articulated design, merging a doll's upper body and a crab's lower body. The doll has a delicate facial expression with rosy cheeks and styled blonde hair, dressed in a traditional blue and white Delft porcelain gown adorned with floral patterns. The crab-like lower body consists of segmented carapace and eight articulated legs, each ending in sharp claws, showcasing a glossy finish. The composition is placed on a smooth white surface that enhances the figurine's vibrant colors and intricate details.

Extraordinary! Where was this?
Indeed. I was just wondering whether it was a specific varnish that gives this drawing that brown glaze - a bit like dirty old car oil, which I like!
Those beautiful hands…
Yes please!
Great idea, good work - appreciated!
Which varnish do you use please?
