Been watching him for quite some time. I really need to get to one of them. I imagine they would be a street photographer goldmine

Black and white square image. A lone figure walks down a narrow, sandy path through the dunes on the north coast of Prince Edward Island, Canada. The blurry image was made with a Holga plastic camera.

It happens every single time there are people around. I try to plan accordingly but I usually fail:)

I believe it. Those big lenses always get people looking

No kings protest with my traditional twist. Can you find the dog? 7-second exposure on 4x5. He never moved.

No Kings. 4x5 film. I did not get the photos I wanted to take. Too many people stopped me to talk about my camera. The one thing you have to accept when shooting 4x5. I did get a couple that I will post.

Great photo.

I was doing the same. Problem was, I had a hard time getting photos I wanted because everyone kept talking to me about my camera.

Thanks for the tip. I expect that to be the case. I’ll have to tighten my composition. I don’t own a digital so I’m stuck using film which is ok with me. I use the cheap stuff.

True, hadn’t thought of that either. I was going for a motion, ended up with a ghost pic for the season.

If he was a woman, maybe

Thanks! Hopefully the next one turns out better. If not I’m now officially happy with this

Lol, I probably just started a new rumor

I should have. Maybe on FB.

I hadn’t thought about that. What a world we live in today. Whenever I show my work for sale, I get so many shocked faces when I show them the camera I used.

Thanks! Maybe it’s not as bad as I think it is.

Thanks and yes they are tricky. I scratched my head on a few that turned out odd. She walked slowly down the stairs and stopped with about 4 seconds left.

Thanks! I like it, but I was trying to add more detail to the last part of the image. I wanted a ghostly image over time, with the final stop showing all details, yet remaining opaque. I lost her lower half on this one. Hopefully, I can achieve what I envision on the next attempt.

Very nice. Almost has an IR feel to it.

A failed attempt. I'm trying a new project with long exposure.
I shot this with 'stops' timed to the reciprocity failure at 21 seconds on 4x5 film. I have an idea on how to make it work.

My first art show went well. Met some great local people and some awesome local photographers and artist. The Olympia community is awesome. Thank you to all those that stopped by for some great conversation.

I was pleasantly surprised. I thought for sure it would have been sent to the prop garbage in Hollywood, but nope, still there!
