If Republicans hate the CA and VA redistricting, they can thank the person responsible - Donald J. Trump.
None of it would’ve been possible without his leadership on this issue.

A New Jersey data center will reportedly receive $77 million in tax breaks — while only creating one permanent job.
One job, in exchange for higher utility bills, noise pollution, and potential groundwater pollution.
Is it any wonder communities are organizing to stop data centers?
Never stop talking about the #EpsteinFiles. Never.
No Tucker, that’s not how this works. You did damage for years. You helped create this disaster. You sat on national television and blatantly lied over and over again. You knew what you were doing all along.
Take your fake apology and kick rocks off the edge of a cliff.
So much false equivalence in media on gerrymandering in Texas vs California & Virginia. California and Virginia maps approved by the voters. That's a huge difference not enough people pointing out
This fking asshole can take his apology & shove it. He has the balls to say even though he knew he was lying to ppl it wasn't intentional. Bullshit! He knew exactly what he was doing & he knew it was wrong but he was making so much money he didn't care. He's a douchebag of the worst kind.
The amount of strength Deni needed to be running at the basket and just STOP on his left leg on a dime mid-stride long enough to get that late lob to Robert Williams is out of control. That is SO, so hard. Try it in your driveway. Actually, don't, you'll tear something. That's such a tough move.
The Portland Trail Blazers are going to win the championship (“and the parade will be a Zoom call” - Tom Dundon)
Blazers win, which has to upset their new owner on account of it locks in one extra flight and two days of per diem

This image seems to be a fitting illustration of the Trump presidency!
Tucker is onto his next grift.
My first thought is that this is his next grift
Why I'm going... My POV on the dinner is summed up well by Eric Deggans on Substack. "Yes, the optics of such an event can be terrible," he writes. But the gatherings themselves are "extremely useful" for reporters: "It's not often, when covering a beat expansive as media or politics, that you get to attend an event which brings together loads of people from your coverage area in one spot on one night. I always view such events as opportunities for source-building, vetting of coverage ideas and networking." That's why I will be there this weekend. (Thank you, CNN, for the invite.)
I'm disappointed that @brianstelter.bsky.social is going to the appalling WHCD dinner. It is *not* at all useful for anything journalistically defensible. It's a celebration of smug clubbiness and, this year, of submission to disinformation and fascism. view.newsletters.cnn.com/messages/177...

“This administration has deliberately and systematically weakened all five core elements of America’s global power. Tragically, the United States is in the process of committing superpower suicide.”

Former UN Ambassador Rice:
"The U.S. is systematically weakening itself across all 5 pillars of global power—
Military: increased spending without modernization, depleted weapons stockpiles, politicized purges of experienced officers/generals, weakened legal/military norms, and a costly Iran 🇮🇷 1/7
If you attend the White House Correspondents Dinner this year, you should be legally barred from using the term "journalist" to describe yourself from that point on.
Love yourself so much that you are confused when you have a hater because look at you!

Most people have become accustomed to hiding their deepest pain.
Behind the eyes of many faces you see today, or in quiet voices; is someone suffering silently.
Treat others with dignity & don’t cause further harm. Think before you say something hurtful.
Be respectful & choose compassion.
As a matter of principle, you can either have a dinner that celebrates the First Amendment or you can have a dinner that features Donald Trump. You can’t have both because the president holds the freedom of the press in contempt. www.mediamatters.org/donald-trump...
it’s a great day for transphobes to eat shit
This👇🏼. AOC is the only one stating it clearly and plainly. Do I have any faith that the American people will ever elect a woman president someday? No. I hope I’m proven wrong.
Half of all new electricity demand in the U.S. last year came from data centers—just as public opinion of them plummets

Excellent point! There are so many politically and civically illiterate people out there who are too lazy to put in the work.
It is a comparison that shouldn't even have to be made.
