I understand the importance of 230 but I don't think it's fully adequate enough to meet the moment. Platforms that let users engage with each other on a forum are vastly different from the infinite scroll of manosphere content aimed at teenage boys. There should be a way to legally differentiate.
Yes and the design choices weren't present when the products first rolled out. These changes like auto play and infinite scroll came as these companies looked to exploit creators to make more content to keep ppl on their platform. There's a monetary incentive to make addictive content!
