Louis Wain's art being on e621 does make sense but nonetheless feels deeply wrong

Silksong is truly the Cum Town of videogames (both have gay bugs)
Sorry Mr. Ligotti, but my plan for this world is a wholesome one
Dagestan catching strays huh
I'm not gonna pretend that the final Chainsaw Man chapter didn't make me smile a little bit, but still
Fujimoto, you fucking hack
lightning bans are like if I ordered new shoes online but then doc marten himself came to my house and shot my boots with a gun
Porn parody of Flesh and Blood (heroes rotate out via the Loving Legend system)
Dvaurora (but this works only in Slavic languages)
This goes incredibly hard.

Dex from Moreru/That Same Street has blessed us with Magic-themed screamo/melodic metalcore, never before I've felt this pandered to lol
Game stores are businesses first and foremost, a lot of TCGs have sets that end up selling poorly (looking at you, MtG Spider-Man), of course they want to maximize profits anywhere they can. Average collector wouldn't buy at MSRP if the market price was below it, so why should the stores lose money?
I totally understand why One Piece/Pokemon/Riftbound collectors are unsatisfied with the product being sold for double the MSRP or more, but I find it really funny when they start accusing every LGS of being scalpers just because they sell at the market price.
Looking back, it's wild how quickly hyperpop turned into its own caricature and imploded. I'm choosing to blame Dylan Brady.
Souichirou Yamamoto is a very obvious l*licon, but this is wild. The Japanese audience won't care though and the western fans are largely irrelevant for his career.
The cat from Stir the Pot is back, the most important returning character possible. Thank you Hiro Suda #fabtcg
I don't think they can region-lock cards by language at this point, people would be furious if you forbid them from playing their Japanese bling marvel heroes etc.
Embargo on shipping products still wouldn't stop people from buying cheap singles or cracking a case or two while they're on vacation.
Yeah, there are differences in the product contents, release schedules etc. But as a result people outside Japan buy Japanese products only as collectibles, players have no reason to buy them.
People shouldn't be incentivized to play cards in a language that people around them won't understand.
I understand that, but most TCGs that have such price difference don't allow Japanese cards to be played at the same events as English ones (Pokemon, One Piece, Vanguard etc.) so the Japanese product doesn't directly compete with its English counterpart.
Or at least make the Japanese boxes cost the same but do exclusive alternate arts like MtG's War of the Spark did. That still makes the Japanese product attractive while it doesn't directly hurt the EV of the English one
I get why LSS is trying to push #fabtcg in Japan by making the boxes cost like €40, but imho they should start using anime art instead in order to succeed.
The current FaB playerbase cares about the gameplay first and foremost so this would attract significantly more players than it would dissuade.
I'm sure the set will sell fine, but Super Scam is a ridiculously low bar to claim that PEN will be in *high* demand.
Compendium of Rathe pre-orders as listed on Star City Games website. $119.99/box and $479.99/case.
Compedium of Rathe pre-orders listed on Tokyofab's website. ï¿¥32,000(roughly $203 USD) per case and ï¿¥8000(roughly $51 USD) per box.
I understand the differences and reasons why one is cheaper than the other, but man does it make it hard to justify ordering English when Japanese is gonna be cheaper even when you consider shipping and other fees.
Lack of actual new and exciting cards spoiled doesn't help either.

Like the most extreme example was High Seas, the box toppers sold for ~30 EUR so if you were in Japan you could have just sold those to EU/US and effectively gamble for marvels, legendaries and Riches for free.
I'm afraid the Antiquity pack will do the same thing with PEN
Yeah, this is something that can significantly hurt the game as game stores can end up stuck with English products while players opt for ~40% cheaper Japanese ones (and that's after paying import and sales taxes)
I kinda liked how LSS doesn't mind using raunchier art compared to WotC when I first started the game, but in the end most of it is just boring at being horny and is completely out of place (the new Riches deserves to get altered a lot).
Duel Commander Ertai Resurrected
Just the creator of the format.
I feel so vindicated for selling my single copy before they even announced premodern for MTGO lmao
Took down the #fabtcg RtN in Linz today on Oscilio!
Genduron seems like a very pleasant store that features an admirably insane combination of TCGs, comics, anime figurines, board games, arcade machines and old consoles.
