Panel 3: The plain character has his arms extended off panel, compressing his arms as hard as he possibly can, teeth grinding, eyes bulging, veins popping ... Panel 4: ... But she is just squeezing Shen's cheeks and Shen has an innocent, happy expression, because there isn't much neck to get ahold of.
