Hi, I’m autistic and I’m the mayor of my city.
House Republicans just rammed through the #SAVEAct - a dangerous bill that would make it harder for eligible Americans to vote.
As the top election official in a state with one of the highest voter turnout rates, I can tell you with certainty: This bill solves nothing and helps no one. #mepolitics
Pledge to celebrate International Women's Day by finding your next right thing to do. You are stronger than you know. And we are all stronger together.

4. Do NOT pre-obey, and call others out on it when they do it. We know that Trump waffles on his orders when he gets pushback, just like he has when Trudeau pushed back on the tariffs. He is weak, and we can't just hand over power when he barks.

3. Be loud and disrupt. The world we are living in today isn't normal, and we can't let ourselves or others simply get used to it. Speak out in whatever way you can.

2. Organize. Talk to your friends and neighbors and co-workers. Let them know that you know this isn't normal. Then join together and start making plans.

1. Call our federal delegation. Every. Single. Day. Even if you think they won't listen today, make sure they have the data showing that their constituents believe in a fair and just government.

This afternoon, I had the privilege of speaking to a rally to celebrate International Women's Day. I asked the crowd to join me in doing four things:

Both of them live in CD2, so this might be difficult. Don't take their absence as disinterest!
Good luck this weekend!
Let me offer a huge congratulations to your new Maine Democratic Party Chair Charlie Dingman and Vice Chair Imke Schessler-Jandreau! I'm incredibly proud already of the work I know you will accomplish together.

As we get closer to the #DNC vote, I want to express my strong support for @kenmartin.bsky.social for Chair. Ken Martin has the experience we need to ensure candidates with Democratic values are elected. Fundraising to organizing to visionary action - Ken is the leader we can trust.
I was home sick on President Carter's last day in office, the same day the hostages were released. I remember being frustrated (I was 8 and wanted to watch tv), but I also remember his grace on a very emotionally charged day. President Carter led by example. May his memory be an inspiration.
President Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the United States
“President Jimmy Carter will be remembered for his outstanding character and decades of service to the American people as a naval officer, elected leader, and humanitarian. “His remarkable legacy includes his support of civil rights as the governor of Georgia, the creation of the U.S. Departments of Energy & Education during his presidency, and his work to support democracy, disaster relief, and disease prevention after leaving office. We extend our deepest condolences to the Carter family.”
We are deeply saddened by the news of President Jimmy Carter's passing. He will be remembered for his outstanding service to the American people in uniform, elected office, and civilian life. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Carter family.
Merry Christmas, my friend!
Labor rights are human rights.
On #HumanRightsDay, we affirm the fundamental rights of workers to organize and collectively bargaining in a union.
Just had a deep conversation with a friend who realized her therapist doesn't share her Democratic values. The personal is political... Who's got an amazing therapist recommendation for a progressive business-owning mom? Telehealth works so not location specific.
