Mattea Roach to host digital book club connecting readers across Canada | CBC Books The One eRead book club is a national book club out of local libraries. This year's One eRead Canada book is the novel Valid by Montreal author Chris Bergeron, translated by Natalia Hero.

Looking forward to this discussion! Loved the book (though it's very unsettling). #VALID #OneEreadCanada

Aussi :
"L'amour affecte l'espace-temps. (...) C'est une réalité physique."

One eRead Canada – A digital, bilingual, cross-Canada book club

Canadians! is anyone else reading Valide by Chris Bergeron? I'm tentatively encouraged by a trans book of warning being held in this moment. Toronto Public Library only has the audiobook in the original French so me, my disability, & my French immersion are all the way in

I love using libby, especially since I recently figured out I could get an Edmonton Public Library card as a U of Alberta student, it’s been a GAME CHANGER for reading on my kobo! I’m reading Blood Like Magic rn (LOVING it), and hoping to start Babel this weekend!

Be soft.
Do not let the world make you hard.
Do not let the pain make you hate.
Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness.
Take pride that even though the rest of the world may disagree,
you still believe it to be a beautiful place.

We will never out republican republicans.

Democrats should be the party that helps people- and starts with those struggling the most for the common good.

Anyone missing this point should be fired from “strategizing” for the party.
