shaking my head at how women are so often erased from history

Two different poets have now published two different books about a trip to Knareborough where they went insane chasing saints, speaking to stones, and absorbing its weird history, and neither of them mentioned that I was also there playing Pokemon Crystal on my atomic purple gameboy the ENTIRE time
The owners had vast amounts of money they were willing to chuck at it with no promise of any return. I guess they finally got fed up
If I was Xi Jinping I would be googling 'Flu Season United States' right about now
God, what a shitshow. rest in piss
I replied 'no ma'am, that would not have helped in this situation', and then made a member of staff follow the kid around and sanitise every single thing he touched
There are many terrible customer and staff experiences but truly the worst one was when I had to inform a mother that her son had been caught whacking it to Euro Truck Simulator 2 and she responded 'Would it help if he wore his lanyard? He's autsitc'
As I was quitting I asked one of the owners why he was still doing this even though it was losing thousands of pounds a month and his answer was basically 'sunk cost fallacy'
You could tell the owners had no business sense because they took one look at a 24 year old with blue hair and no prior management experience and said 'This looks like the kind of person who can fix our failing business'
I quit with basically no notice after 18 months because I got pulled up on an incredibly minor infraction (i wasnt physically present in the Party Area of a kids birthday party the entire time (all the parents were there)) and the boss used it as an excuse to bollock me for the business losing money
I said it was a bad idea to cater exclusively to kids but only be open during school hours and then not let kids in without supervision. They said they only got kids as customers so there was no point catering to any other demographic.
I told them they needed new games instead of just all the free games people can play at home (it was a gaming lounge). They said no new games are too expensive and all people want to play is fortnite.
I told them they needed an alcohol licence because we were in the centre of Newcastle. They said no and also the staff couldn't handle drunks and also stop asking to get an alcohol licence
I told them they needed a proper coffee machine instead of an instant thing that made a shit brew. They said what if we install a vending machine. They then didn't do that. I suggested a proper coffee machine again. They said the staff couldn't handle it and also don't ask again
They hired me to turn the business around because they were losing so much money. I saw that on the average week day they had about 2 customers. I told them they need to stop opening weekdays and focus on weekends. They said no and also never ask that again
my old terrible place of work just closed down, can I get a helllll yeaahhhhhh please?
I guarantee it wouldn't be this much of a problem if it was the gay of Hormuz
Many people are saying this!

pleased to know that of the five concerts I've been to/am going to this year, only one of them is for a straight artist
the book I'm reading is so slow paced that I'm over 100 pages in and the main character hasn't even been born yet
Books I've read, 2026
I love cities, I love the idea of cities, I love specific cities, I love cities generally. I love the history of cities, I love the future of cities. I love to wander cities. I love to live in cities. I love to build cities and imagine cities and dream of cities. I love cities
Book 10: Dick Tucker, Detective in Drag: A Thot Without A Prayer
This is a reboot of a comic that was among the first presents I ever bought my now wife. It's very silly and sweet and funny.
getting leaflets through the door for the local council elections and all labour and lib dems can talk about is grafitti. Like, i'm sorry, but do you people not have real problems??
And the woman did speak unto the hound, saying, What do you mean, normal men, and the hound answered the woman, saying, We are just innocent men. And great was her emotion
No I'm not autistic I'm just rude to people who deserve it
